Why did I wait so long!
This was my first time walking along the Via Francigena, and I can’t believe I waited this long. From the cobbled streets of Pavia to the gentle hills around Fidenza, each day brought moments of quiet reflection. I felt immersed in Italian culture in a way I never have before. Highly recommend this for anyone craving a slower, meaningful kind of travel.
The perfect balance
What a fantastic experience, just the right balance of challenge and enjoyment for someone in their 60s like me!
Perfect for Our First Walking Tour
My husband and I are both in our early 70s and weren’t sure what to expect from a walking holiday, but this tour was perfect. The pace was manageable, and there was plenty of time to rest, explore, and enjoy the scenery. The churches and old towns along the way were incredible. We’re already looking at which section of the Via Francigena to walk next!
An Authentic Slice of Italy
This was Italy at its most authentic. No big crowds, no rush—just quiet trails, friendly locals, and breathtaking views. It was exactly what we needed to recharge and reconnect with the simple joys of travel.
