Exceeded Expectations!
This section of the Via Francigena exceeded all my expectations. The towns were charming, the food was unforgettable. Each village seemed to tell its own story. I especially loved the mix of cultural sites and quiet trails—it felt deeply meaningful. A fantastic way to see this part of Italy!
Wonderful People
I walked solo and met the most interesting people along the way—from friendly locals to fellow pilgrims. The self-guided setup was easy to follow and the GPS navigation made it easy to stay on track. Highlights included the stay in Vercelli and walking through endless rice fields under big open skies.
We’ll Never Forget It!
We’ve done many walks in Europe, but this one had a special charm. The route was peaceful and uncrowded, with authentic villages that felt untouched by mass tourism. The accommodations were lovely as well. All in all a great trip
